Description

Langley Court Chapel is an early 19th-century ornamental garden building located on South Eden Park Road in Beckenham. Although it is referred to as a chapel, it resembles a rustic cottage more than a traditional place of worship. The building features a weatherboarded gable end topped with a wooden cupola that houses a bell and a clock face. It is a single-storey structure with two casement windows and an unusual rustic fanlight above the door. The side elevation includes an outside chimney stack and two round-headed lancet windows. The roof is thatched, adding to its rustic charm.
