Description

This is a group of mid-19th century houses located on Cambridge Gardens. The houses are irregularly arranged around a green space. Each house has three bays, three storeys, and a basement. The ground floor is finished in channelled stucco, while the upper floors are brick with stucco dressings. The first-floor windows are arched. A bracketed eaves cornice sits above low-pitched slate roofs. The houses are arranged in pairs, with number 12 detached. The outer bays of each pair originally featured stucco balconettes to the first-floor windows, sometimes serving as door hoods. Some of these balconettes and porches are now missing.
