Description

Christ Church is a spacious cruciform church built in 1866, designed by Charles R B King. It is constructed of ragstone with freestone dressings and features a tall tower with a spire at the north-east corner. The church showcases decorated tracery in the aisle and transept windows, along with paired lancets in the clerestory. King made additions to the original structure in 1888, a vestry was added in 1909, and the church was restored in 1948 by E B Glanfield following damage from the war.
