House. 1908-10, to designs by Edward Palser. Painted render, roof of tile with swept boxed eaves; tile-flat gable kneelers; all openings flat arched with original leaded casement lights set in mullion/transom frame. Two storey and three-window range to long elevation facing the Square, the centre range projecting to finish in a facing gable. One window-range to right return, the ground floor with a shallow polygonal bay; rectangular bay to left. Entrance set under porch to short return of facing gable. Window dimensions and arrangements varied to introduce asymmetry into the design. Square brick stack to inside corner of projecting range; another stack to rear, in left-hand range. The only asymmetrical note on the Square, serving as point of transition from Temple Fortune Lane; part of a striking group consisting of Nos. 12-32 {even).
