Description

Nos 9 and 11 Erskine Hill are a pair of houses dating from the mid-18th century, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. They are constructed of grey brick with red dressings. The design is similar to the adjacent Nos 10 and 12, with the notable difference of a lack of a connecting wall between the properties. The main entrances are located on the return elevations, rather than the front elevation. A projecting feature is wider than on Nos 10 and 12, incorporating two windows where the front entrances are found on those properties.
