Description
Bury Farm is a 17th-century building featuring two parallel gable-ended wings, with two storeys and attics. The upper floors are partly over-sailing and weatherboarded, while the ground floor is constructed of painted brick. The main front of the building faces west, and on the north side, there is an 18th-century wing that projects forward, aligning with the gabled end of the 17th-century section, creating an L-shaped plan. The 18th-century wing is also made of painted brick, has two storeys, three windows, and a flat-pitched slate roof that transitions into a gable on the 17th-century front. Attached to the 18th-century wing is an incomplete range of weatherboarded outbuildings with red tiled roofs. The garden side of the house features various minor alterations and additions from the early 19th century, as well as some wood mullion casements. Inside, there is a staircase.
