Description

This gateway and railings are located at the south end of Buckingham Street in the City of Westminster, dating from the mid-18th century. The structure features cast iron railings topped with urn finials, along with a central cast iron gate that has a spiked top rail and dog rails. The retaining wall is made of Portland stone and includes a double flight of steps that lead down in parallel to the Victoria Embankment Gardens.
