Description
No 92 Star Street is part of a terrace built in the early 19th century, with the upper floors of this particular house having been largely rebuilt. The terrace features brown brick construction with a stucco ground floor for Nos 19-21. It consists of three storeys and a basement, with each house having two bays. Nos 16-18 and No 92 include shop fronts, with No 17 showcasing a notable 19th-century shop front made of stucco, featuring Composite pilasters, a central window with large panes, and round-arched entrances with fanlights. This shop front is topped with a fascia, a modillion cornice, and a pediment on consoles. Nos 19-21 have round-arched entrances with fanlights that include radial glazing. Nos 19 and 21 have 16-pane sash windows, while No 20 has a casement window. No 18 features a mews arch. The upper floors have sash windows with glazing bars set beneath flat gauged brick arches. Notable details include balconies and Coade stone heads at No 19, along with iron railings at the basement level of Nos 19-21.
