Description
Nos. 18 and 20 Star Street form a terrace of early 19th-century houses. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with a stucco finish to the ground floor. They are three storeys high, with a basement, and each house has two bays. The entrances are round-arched and feature fanlights, with a particularly decorative patterned fanlight above the entrance to No. 20. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with further sashes containing glazing bars set beneath flat, gauged brick arches. No. 20 has arrow-head patterned railings to the basement. The terrace forms part of a remarkably well-preserved street of modest early 19th-century houses.
