Description
Nos 1 to 4 Pickering Place are terraced houses built around 1731-32, located on the south and east sides of the court in the City of Westminster. They are constructed of brown brick with slate roofs and rise to four storeys, featuring two and three windows wide. Each house has an architraved doorcase positioned to the right of the front, with Nos 3 and 4 showcasing carved consoles beneath their cornices. The windows are mostly recessed sash types without glazing bars, although some are still flush framed, all set under flat gauged arches. There are brick plat bands at the first and third floors, and the building is topped with a parapet that has coping. The interiors boast notable features such as panelling, box cornices, and turned baluster open string staircases.
