Description

There are eight lampstandards on dwarf stone walls in St Paul's Churchyard, dating from around 1870. These lampstandards are made of cast iron and feature short octagonal shapes with decorative foliate caps and octagonal lanterns topped with Bedford coronet finials. They are set on octagonal stone bases. This installation is part of Henry Clutton's refurbishment of the church and churchyard for the Bedford Estate.
