TQ 2880 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER UPPER BROOK 68/33 STREET, Wl 24.2.58 No. 35 G.V. II

One of a pair of terraced town houses. 1737, with well matched attic storey of 1846. Brown brick with rusticated quoins to outer flank balancing those of No. 36, slate roof. 3 storeys and basement with attic storey. 3 windows wide. Doorway to right (balancing that of No. 36) with stone rusticated architrave and broad keystone with vermiculated central key breaking into deeply moulded cornice, framing 6 panel door with radial glazed fanlight. Ground floor recessed glazing bar sashes with red brick dressings and flat gauged red brick arches with vermiculated keystones. Upper floors have similar windows retaining glazing bars,those on 1st floor lowered through sill course early C.19. Stone string course over 1st floor, stone bracketed main cornice over 2nd floor and attic cornice with blocking course; all continuous with No. 36 as in 1st floor early C.19 stone balcony with delicate cast iron balustrade. Wrought iron area railings with torch finials and stone obelisk supporting wrought iron overthrow in front of doorway. Virtually unaltered front. Interior, however, much altered.
