Description
Little Dean's Yard, No 1, is a school house rebuilt in 1896 by Sir T.G. Jackson at the western end of Rigaud's house. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof and is designed in a Neo late-Jacobean style. The building stands three storeys high and features dormers, with a width of four windows. To the right, there is an architraved doorway with a segmental hood. The wood mullioned-transomed casement windows are set under flat gauged arches, and there are moulded brick swags above the first-floor windows. The building has a parapet with coping and pedimented dormers. It is included in the listing for its group interest, associated with Westminster School.
