Description

The Wellington Barracks railings and the east and west gates to Birdcage Walk were constructed around 1833. They are made of cast iron and wrought iron. The railings feature wrought iron scrolled bracket supports. The gates are designed with spear head rails and include openwork spear head iron gatepiers that have medallions inscribed with "W.R. IV 1833."
