Description

These are a group of terraced houses located on Cleveland Gardens, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, with the roof not visible. The end pair on the right are set forward slightly and feature rusticated quoins. The terrace is incomplete, comprising four storeys plus an attic and basement. Each house has two windows across the front. Projecting Doric porches have solid sides, arched windows on the flanks, and panelled, studded doors set back from the front facade. The windows have square heads, with architraves above the ground floor and pediments to the first floor, incorporating flanking fluted Corinthian half columns. The second-floor windows are corniced. The windows are sash windows with plate glass, with French casements on the first floor. There's a dentil cornice above the third floor, and a cast iron window guard to the first and second floors. A smaller dentil cornice sits above the attic. The houses have area balustrades.
