Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of houses located on the north side of Queens Gardens in the City of Westminster. The terrace comprises numbers 12 to 33, and was formerly known as Queen's Garden. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with a roof that is not visible. They stand four storeys high, with an attic and a basement. Each house is two windows wide.

The houses feature projecting Doric porches with solid sides and round-headed windows on the flanks. They have panelled, studded doors. A balcony is present on the first floor. The ground floor windows have architraves above, while the first floor windows have alternating triangular and segmental pediments. The second-floor windows are corniced, though these are missing from numbers 10 and 11. The windows are sash windows with plate glass, with French casements on the first floor. A cornice is visible above the third floor. Cast iron area railings are present. This terrace forms part of a larger group, with numbers 1 to 6, although the intervening houses have been demolished.
