Description

TQ 2781 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER NEW QUEBEC STREET, Wl 54/77 (east side) No. 1 G.V. II Terraced house, c. 1790-1800 Portman Estate development following on Great Cumberland Place and Seymour street. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof, 4 storeys and basement. 3 windows wide. Central semicircular arched doorway with panelled jambs, panelled door and radial patterned fanlight; small pilaster framed shop window to right with entablature and plain recessed sash window to left. Upper floors have recessed sashes under flat gauged red brick arches. Ground floor stuccowork carried up to 1st floor sill band. Parapet with coping. Cast iron area railings with spearhead finials.
