Description

This is a row of houses located at 6-17 Montpellier Place in the City of Westminster, dating from the early to mid-19th century and subsequently altered. The houses are constructed of stock brick with a stucco ground floor, arranged over three storeys and a basement. Each house has a two-window width. The entrances are located to the left of each house, with round-headed arches leading to various panelled doors, some of which have hoods. Windows between numbers 12 and 17 have square, gauged-head surrounds; those of numbers 6 to 11 have segmental heads. The windows are mainly sash windows with small panes, although some ground floor windows were altered around 1900. Cast iron area railings are present.
