Description
17A Montpelier Square is an early 19th-century terraced house, altered in the mid-19th century. The house is constructed of painted stock brick with channelled stucco to the ground floor. It is four storeys high with a basement and has a two-window front. The entrance is located on the right-hand side. The windows are square-headed, with casements to the first floor, a cast iron balcony, and a fine, tented canopy supported by Chinoiserie cast iron. Upper windows have architraves and are sash windows with glazing bars. There is a panelled front door and cast iron area railings. The house forms part of a group within Montpelier Square.
