Description
Nos 131 to 134 on New Bond Street are commercial premises built in 1914. They feature an ashlar stone facade and showcase a free and individual Arts and Crafts design. The building stands five storeys tall and is five bays wide, arranged in a pattern of a, a, b, a, a on the upper floors. The ground floor includes original plate glass shop fronts on either side of a central hooded doorway, all beneath a projecting cornice. The upper floors feature three-storey bay windows and paired windows on the first, second, and third floors, with all windows having bronzed casements and moulded corners under flat arches. At the fourth floor level, a bold cornice supports a balcony in front of the attic storey, which is topped by an even bolder cornice.
