Description

No. 12 Lancashire Court is an early to mid-18th century terrace house and shop, altered subsequently. It is constructed of painted brick and stucco to the ground floor, with a slate roof. The building is three storeys high and two windows wide. A round-headed doorway is located on the left-hand side, and there is a projecting shop front, originally from the early 19th century, but altered in the mid-20th century. The upper floors contain flush-framed sash windows with glazing bars, set within segmental stone heads. A parapet with coping runs along the top, and there is a chimney stack on the corner. The building has group value.
