Description
No 118 on New Bond Street is a terrace house built in the mid-18th century, with early 19th century and Victorian-Edwardian alterations. It features painted brick and a slate roof, standing four storeys high and three windows wide. The ground floor includes a mid-19th century pilastered shop front with a central entrance, and to the left, there is an Edwardian stone architrave with a pedimented doorway that provides access to the upper floors. The first floor displays quoining that aligns with the party walls. The revealed sash windows, which have late 19th century glazing, are set in architrave surrounds, with those on the first and second floors having eased edges. The building is topped with a moulded cornice and an open work balustraded parapet.
