Description

No. 4 Avery Row is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of multi-coloured stock brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall, topped with a plain parapet and a mansard roof. It has five windows across its facade. A projecting double shop front from the mid-19th century has canted ends, panelled risers, and an entablature. The windows have reversed sashes with later 19th-century glazing set under gauged brick arches.
