Description
This is a mid-18th century terrace house, later stuccoed in the early to mid-19th century, located at 33 Hill Street, London. It has a slate roof and includes a basement and dormered mansard. The house has four storeys and three windows. The ground floor is channelled, with rusticated quoins. A frieze and cornice are present at the third floor level, topped by a crowning cornice and blocking course. The windows are sash windows. Those on the first floor have pediments. An Edwardian stone Doric porch is located on the right side of the facade. A cast iron balcony is situated on the first floor, and the entrance is protected by cast iron area railings. Inside, between the front and rear ground floor rooms, is a Greek Doric screen. A cut string staircase with a wrought iron balustrade is also present.
