Description

No. 20 Stratford Place is a mid-20th century reproduction of terrace houses, designed to reflect the original style of similar houses at Nos. 2 to 6 opposite, which were built in 1774 by Richard Edwin. The building features brown brick and stucco, possibly reusing some original materials, and has slate roofs. It stands three storeys tall with a dormered mansard roof and is six windows wide, showcasing semicircular arcaded openings on the ground floor. The building has balustraded parapets and was originally designed to create a symmetrical composition that balances the opposite side of this cul-de-sac leading to Stratford House.
