Description
Nos 12 to 14 Welbeck Street are a pair of terrace houses from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with stuccoed ground floors and feature slate roofs. The buildings rise four storeys above a basement, with each house having three windows across the front. The doorways are semicircular, with No 12 displaying a head on keystone, while No 14 has an early to mid-19th century Doric porch added. Both houses have six-panel doors with radial glazed fanlights. The sash windows are revealed and set under gauged flat arches. A parapet with copings crowns the buildings, and there are cast iron balconies from around 1800 on the first floor. The area is also enclosed by late 18th century and mid-19th century cast iron railings.
