Description

This is a late 18th-century terrace house located on Queen Anne Street in Westminster. It is constructed of red stock brick with a slate roof, and has four storeys plus a basement, topped by a dormered mansard. The house is two windows wide. The ground floor is stuccoed and rusticated, featuring a single sash window within an architrave surround. A square-headed doorway is located on the left side, containing a door with six fielded panels, a fanlight, and a cornice supported by consoles with a fret pattern in the frieze. The upper floors have revealed sashes with glazing from the mid-19th century, set within flat, gauged arches. A cornice and parapet cap the building. Approximately dating to 1800, cast iron balconettes are present on the first-floor windows, and mid-Victorian cast iron area railings are also visible.
