Description

No. 6 Gerrard Street is a terrace house built between 1733 and 1734. It features painted brickwork and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with a dormered mansard. The building has three windows across its façade. The ground floor has a mid to late 20th century shop front, while the upper floors showcase recessed sash windows with segmental arches and late 19th century glazing. A band course runs below the parapet, which is capped with coping. Inside, the property retains some original panelling in the passage hall and stairwell, and the dog leg staircase features turned balusters on the upper flights. There is a cast iron rainwater head that is shared with No. 5.
