Description
No. 16 Savile Row is a terrace house built around 1733 and has been altered since its construction. It features a brown brick exterior and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with a basement and a dormered mansard. The building is three windows wide, with a doorway located to the right that has a cornice supported by consoles, alongside a mid-20th century display window. The upper floors have recessed sashes without glazing bars, set under flat gauged arches. A stone cornice is present over the second floor, and there is a parapet with coping. The property is enclosed by cast iron area railings. Inside, the house retains elements of panelling, cornices, and a dog leg staircase with cut and carved strings and turned balusters. This building is part of the Burlington Estate.
