Description

This is a mid-18th century terrace house, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is located on Harley Street in the City of Westminster. The building is constructed primarily of brown brick, with a rusticated stucco finish on the ground floor, and has a slate roof. It has four storeys plus a basement, with a later attic storey added. There are three windows facing the street. A semi-circular arched doorway is situated on the right-hand side, flanked by side lights. A shallow, canted three-light bay window is present on the ground floor, topped with a dentil cornice. The sash windows have stucco architraves; the upper floors lack glazing bars, while the first floor windows have alternating pediments. An original stone cornice is visible at the level of the third floor. Cast iron area railings are present.
