Description
Nos 15 and 17 Harley Street are a pair of terrace houses built in the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of brown brick with slate roofs and have a stuccoed ground floor. The buildings rise four storeys with a basement and feature dormers in a slated mansard roof. Each house has three windows. There is a bracketed course at the third floor and a moulded cornice at the parapet. The round-headed doorways are located to the left and are accompanied by sidelights and fanlights. The revealed sash windows do not have glazing bars and are topped with gauged flat arches. Both houses have continuous cast iron balconies dating from around 1800 on the first floor.
In 2018, an ornate plasterwork ceiling, likely from the mid-18th century, was uncovered in the rear first-floor room of No. 17.
