Description

These are six lamp standards, numbered 1 to 5 consecutively, and one at number 8. They date from the early to mid-19th century and are made of cast iron. Each lamp standard has an octagonal base and shaft, incorporating ladder bars, and is topped with a Windsor lantern. They are listed at group value, recognised as part of a desirable sequence of similar lamp standards, alongside those found on Queen Anne’s Gate.
