Description

BRANDLEHOW ROAD SW15 TQ 27 NW 1207/1/10011 Brandlehow School II Primary school. 1950. Erno Goldfinger. Pre-cast reinforced concrete frame with red brick infill. Single storeyed with taller hall, which is fully glazed to playground. Shallow mono-pitched roofs. Roughly of 'L' plan, with assembly hall facing into playground from west and classrooms occupying north side of playground,' facing south. Large brick tower by entrance., One of only two schools built on Goldfinger's own school building system.
