Description
Prospect House is a two-storey building said to have been constructed between 1805 and 1806. It features a stucco exterior with three sash windows, where the central bay is recessed. The projecting wings are adorned with corner pilasters that have incised decoration. At the centre, there is a bowed stucco porch supported by Ionic columns, although the entablature details are missing. A band runs between the storeys, and there is a cornice and blocking course topped with acroteria. The right-hand bay includes a small modern extension on the ground floor. The right-hand return elevation has a three-bay front with sash windows, featuring decorative pilasters only at the extreme outer corners. This elevation is otherwise similar to the front, with a recessed centre and a band between the storeys.
