Description

These iron railings belong to a building dated to the 18th or early 19th century. The building itself is of stock brick construction with red brick window dressings and a stucco basement. A stucco string course runs along the sill heights of the first and second floors. There are three storeys, dormers, and a basement, with two windows per floor. The windows are sash windows with vertical glazing bars, set beneath segmental arches. A doorway features a hood supported by carved scroll brackets, above a plain fanlight. A slate step leads to the iron railings which are topped with spearhead finials. The railings are located at number 3 Paradise Row, and form a group with the buildings numbered 2 to 11.
