Description

The railings at No 8 Paradise Row date from the early 19th century. They are made of painted brick and feature a parapet and a mansard roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, with two windows that have gauged flat arches and sash frames with vertical glazing bars. The ground floor includes margin lights. There is a round-headed doorway with a fanlight and steps leading up to it. The iron railings are topped with spear and pineapple finials, although some railings are missing. Nos 2 to 11 Paradise Row form a group behind Bethnal Green Gardens.
