Description
This early 19th-century terrace comprises numbers 2 to 22 Fairfield Road, forming a cohesive group. The buildings are constructed of yellow stock brick with a stucco cornice and blocking course. The roof is not visible. Each property is two storeys high and features two sash windows with plain reveals and some glazing bars. A string course runs at first-floor level, bearing the inscription "Fairfield Place". The doorways are good examples of plain, Doric pilastered designs, stuccoed and adorned with small wreaths on the entablatures, with some fanlights above.
