Description
Nos 33 to 48 on the west side of Tredegar Square, built in the first half of the 19th century, are notable for their yellow brick construction, stucco cornice, and blocking course, topped with slate roofs. The buildings rise three storeys and include basements. Each has two windows featuring gauged flat arches and recessed windows with glazing bars. The first floor has shallow, round-headed recesses, while the ground floor has round-headed openings. The central section, comprising Nos 39 to 42, showcases a stucco ground floor with pilasters extending through the first and second floors, topped by a pediment. The doors are adorned with fanlights and pilasters. These properties, along with Nos 1 to 48 and Nos 53 to 64, form a group with the Cooper's Company School on Morgan Street.
