Description

Holy Trinity Church, built between 1836 and 1839 and designed by architect G. Austin, is a notable structure located on Morgan Street. The church is constructed of stock brick with stone dressings and features a three-bay west end that serves as a focal point for Rhondda Grove. The center bay is accentuated by octagonal corner buttresses that rise above the gabled roof line. The surrounding buildings, including Nos 6 to 11 (consecutive), Nos 19 to 23 (odd), Nos 24 and 25, and Nos 28 to 31 (consecutive) on Rhondda Grove, create a group that visually centers around Holy Trinity Church.
