Description
No 42 Brushfield Street is an 18th-century building made of painted brick, featuring a parapet and a slate mansard roof. It stands three storeys tall with dormers and has three windows fitted with 19th-century sashes that do not have glazing bars. The ground floor has a shop front that dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. This building, along with No 40, forms a group with the lamp standard located in front of No 38 and No 11 Gun Street.
