Description

No 58 on Artillery Lane is a mid to late 18th century building, paired with No 56. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a corbelled cornice at the third floor, with stone coping. The building has four storeys and three windows, each with gauged flat arches. The windows are recessed sashes with glazing bars. The shop front is made of wood, featuring fluted pilasters and a plain entablature. There is a vaulted and paved entrance corridor. Nos 52 to 58 on Artillery Lane form a group with Nos 2 to 16 on Artillery Passage and the bollards at the junction of the two streets.
