Description
Nos 439 to 455 on Mile End Road, built in the early 19th century, are a group of terraced houses made of yellow stock brick with a stucco band beneath a former blocking course. The buildings feature a slate mansard roof and have three storeys, including dormers and basements. Each house has two sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, and round arched windows on the first floor. The doorways are also round arched, complete with fanlights and fluted pilasters. This terrace forms a group at the entrance to Tredegar Square from Mile End Road.
