Description
Central House is a building that dates from around 1800 and is currently used as offices. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings and features a parapet with three pedimented dormers set in the pitched roof behind. The building has three storeys, an attic, and a sunk basement, with a total of five bays. The central three-bay section is slightly recessed. There are round-arched entrances in one-storey extensions on both the left and right sides. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged, flat brick arches. The outer ground-floor bays contain tripartite windows set in shallow, segment-headed recesses. The interior has not been inspected.
