Description

This is a range of almshouses built in the early 19th century. Constructed of brick in Flemish bond, it features brick stacks on the party walls and on the west-facing return. This range forms the south side of a U-shaped group and is identical in materials and design to the north range. It is two storeys high and has eight windows. All the windows are made of gauged brick with pointed-arch openings and Gothick glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected. Together with the other blocks, this range creates a strong architectural group.
