Description

This is a pair of houses, number 14 and 15 Eliot Place, built in 1803. They are designed as a symmetrical pair, each house having a three-storey central section with a single window and a two-storey side wing, also with a single window. The walls are rendered. The roofs are slate, running horizontally to the front and largely hidden behind a parapet. The windows are replacement sash windows with glazing bars, set within reeded architraves and feature "Gothic" pierced angle braces. Wood splay bay windows are present on the rear elevations. The entrances are on the side returns. Numbers 10 to 15 (consecutively numbered) and the forecourt walls form a group of buildings of group value.
