Description
20 and 22 Dartmouth Hill is a pair of late 18th century or early 19th century buildings, each three stories high with a basement, featuring a total of six windows. The buildings are constructed of multicoloured stock brick and have a stone-coped parapet that conceals the roof. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches set in stucco-lined reveals. In the outer bays, the upper windows have been replaced with sashes in canted wood oriel bays that extend to the parapet level. The left side has a renewed door adorned with pilasters, a cornice head, and a wide, patterned fanlight. The right side also features a similar fanlight, but the doorway beneath it has been bricked up. There are plain, wrought iron area railings in front of the buildings.
