Description
Fifteen public benches, dating from the 19th century, are located on the embankment footpath between Lambeth Bridge and Westminster Bridge. The benches are now set on blocks of modern concrete with exposed aggregate. They feature cast iron centre and end supports adorned with ornamental open-work panels and arms shaped like swans, which hold long wooden slats for seating.
