Description

Westminster Bridge, built in 1862 by Thomas Page, features seven graduated elliptical metal spans adorned with quatrefoil ornamentation in the spandrels. The spans rest on plain stone piers that have pointed cutwaters. Half-octagonal pilasters separate the spans and support triple iron lampholders. The iron parapet includes a continuous band of a trefoil pattern.
