Description

This is a mid-19th century range of buildings constructed in the Tudor style. It comprises numbers 141, 143, and 145 Lansdowne Way. The building has three storeys and originally featured nine windows, with three in the centre and the remaining windows set within full-height, battlemented, canted outer bays. The left outer windows have been blocked on the upper floors, and the battlements are no longer present. A continuous cornice runs along the top of the building, though this is missing from the left side. The windows have pointed arches with splayed jambs; the first-floor windows are hooded. Modern ground floor shops now occupy the front. Numbers 141 and 143 have elaborately paneled doors, while number 145 has a plain door. The Tudor arched fanlights above the doors have distinctive features: number 141 has tracery, while the others are hooded. Number 141 also includes triple nook shafts that continue over the door arch. A set of three steps with wrought iron handrails leads to the entrance.
