Description
No. 57 Acre Lane is an early 19th-century villa that stands two storeys high with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with an eaves soffit. The windows have gauged brick arches, with round arches on the ground floor set in round-arched recesses that include an impost string. The upper windows are sash windows with glazing bars, while the lower windows have been replaced with modern casements. The basement is stuccoed. Access to the villa is via ten steps, which are accompanied by a cast iron rail, leading to a six-panel double door topped with a cornice head and a plain fanlight.
